Classroom News
Literacy
We have been working
hard on our literacy skills this past week.
I have included a couple of photos for you to get a better understanding
of what some of our students are working on.
Our class has been working in four small groups to target specific
skills that need to be developed. I am impressed with the amount of work that
we have been able to do so far this year.
I look forward to sharing more information with each of you during our
Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Math
In math we have been
working on positional words. Students made class obstacle course drawings and
had to explain to their peers how they would maneuver through their obstacle
course using words such as inside, in front of, behind, to the left, to the
right, and above.
Conference Update
The paperwork went
home a couple of weeks ago in regards to signing up for Parent/Teacher
Conferences online. I want to reiterate
that the conference sign up does not open until November 2nd.
Please sign up for conferences at that time. Thank you!
Halloween Parade
On October 30th
at 1:50, we will be having a school wide Halloween Parade outside. We will be having our own classroom
celebration before the parade. If you
would like to volunteer to bring in a snack and/or come in, please look for the
paperwork that was sent home in your child’s folder on Friday (10/23). We
will begin our class celebration around 1:20 on the 30th in Room
3. Please note that per school policy,
students are not allowed to wear masks.
Please send your child in with their costume in a bag in their
backpack. We will be changing into them
in the afternoon. You will also be able
to take your child home after the parade after a proper sign out!
